While it does come in the lovely large box the actual dimensions of the purse are much smaller. They come closer to 8" long 2 1/2" tall and about 2" wide. While it's large enough to hold your ID, credit card, cash and a tube of lipstick, there isn't enough room on the inside for your average cell phone. The opening of the clutch is smaller/more narrow than the bottom of the clutch, so opening it up and putting stuff in felt like I was going to break it. BESIDES that, super cute :).
