I bought this bag in Marigold, which is a sunny golden yellow. The picture is an accurate representation of the color, at least on my monitor. It will be a cheerful pop of color for the long winter months ahead, and the yellow is quite versatile as a contrast to autumn colors and jewel tones, which make up most of my wardrobe at the moment. As you can see if you zoom in on the pictures, the leather trim has a darker finish on the edges, and the stitching is also dark, which makes the lines and details of the bag really stand out, at least in the yellow color. I would recommend treating the leather before use to limit stains, dirt and discoloration on lighter color bags like this one.

The leather is high quality--thick enough to hold its shape and stand on its own when you put it down, but still very soft. The magnetic closure is strong and stays closed. The hardware is a subtle brushed brass that looks good but doesn't add too much weight to the bag. Etienne Aigner is known for good quality bags with conservative styling, but I think the yellow color makes this one look a lot more modern than most Aigner bags.

This tote is just the right size to carry everything I need and to organize it well. There are three large interior sections--the middle one is zippered--and interior pockets on both sides for phones and portable electronics, keys, etc. The straps are just the right length for me, too.

I feel this bag is well worth the full retail price, but I was able to take advantage of a special promotional offer and got an even better price. What a deal!

That's what I've heard many times since I bought this purse! I am very pleased with it for several reasons. The rich brick red color adds a pop of color to what I'm wearing, but doesn't clash. The detailing is beautiful - the belt around the outside actually loosens or tightens. On the inside, it has 4 small open pouches along the outer walls that keep me organized - one for my keys, one for my cell phone, one for my sunglasses and one for a small pack of tissues. Plus, the inside is divided into 3 sections, including a large zipper pocket in the middle (where I keep my make-up). The base dimensions are 11" wide, 5" deep and 11" high. The handles drop 9 1/2" to the base.

I got this bag and fell in love with the look and feel of it. That is until I went to put my belongings in it and discovered that there is NO way to close this bag. There is no zip or magnectic closure so your bag is always wide open and accessible to anyone near you. Decided to try it and shopped for my mother and lost her credit card out of the top of the bag on my way out of the store! Needless to say, I won't carry it ever again. When I got home I looked back at the description on Amazon and saw that it said "no closure", but didn't catch it at the time of purchase. Guess I wasn't aware that any bags were made without closures, I have never seen one before. BUYER BEWARE.

If you like a tote that's really just a carry-all this is great. I use it to put my smaller purse in and other items that I bring with me to work everyday. It doesn't close on top, so if that's what you're looking for, this wouldn't be for you.

I have this bag in an ivory color and used it constantly the last 3 months of summer, thru middle of October, including 2 weeks travelling in Canada. It does have a magnetic snap closure on the middle inside fabric section, and that's where I kept my wallet. There may be some risk since it doesnt zip closed, but I dont particularly care for exposed zippers. I've had a lot of compliments on the bag, and noticed during the 2 week trip that if the bag got a little soiled from setting it down in airports or on sidewalks for a moment, wiping it off with a damp cloth made it look perfect again. Well made, looks really sharp with any kind of pant from jeans to trousers. I give this bag high marks, and might buy another one in a different light color. Take note that it appears that the darker colors have light top-stitching, so inspect the picture carefully if you don't want that. The ivory color worked great with my wardrobe.
