I was disappointed in this bag. Although the product details say it has an 11″ shoulder drop, I measured it and the drop is more like 8″. For me, that makes it awkward to wear the bag over my shoulder while wearing a winter coat. In addition, I found the hardware on the bag (the lock) to be too heavy for the supple leather, and the sliding clasp on the front pocket hard to operate. The quality of the bag is otherwise excellent, typical of the brand. I’m returning mine for the reasons given.

I LOVE this bag…i purchased it in the violet and am ALWAYS complimented on it!!! The leather is super soft and the strap length is perfect enough to twirl on your shoulder even with a bulky coat!! I would buy one in every color…if my husband would ever allow it!!!!!

When B. Makowsky designs a handbag, he thinks of just about everything. This handbag is no exception, and it is absolutely wonderful for everyday use. The leather is soft and beautiful, and there are practical outer side pockets on the handbag for keys, a cell phone, or sunglasses. The locking flap in the front is great for keeping train tickets, some cash, etc. And there is a small secure zippered section inside the bag as well. I have used this style of handbag for over a year now in black, so I jumped at the chance to get the handbag in this gorgeous blue color when it went on sale. This is a medium sized bag, and the leather strap fits comfortably on your shoulder. Thanks, Amazon for your very good customer service!

I recently received this bag from Amazon and I must say it exceeded my expectations. I have the Cobalt color which is a gorgeous medium shade of blue. The leather is soft and luxurious and the hardware is a beautiful satin-finished silver color on the buckle. I was concerned about the length of the shoulder strap, but found it to be perfect. The bag arrived quickly and in great condition. It did lack the dust cover which is normally included inside the B. Makowsky bags. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement bag with the included dust cover by overnight delivery. Amazon is a fantastic place to shop. I’ve purchased two B. Makowsky bags from them, and would not hesitate to get a third (or fourth!). I highly recommend this brand of handbag. You won’t regret your purchase if you decide on one. Thanks Amazon for making this a great shopping experience.
